Though I agree with the spirit of this post, I don't think "Don't let Texas execute Kenneth Foster for driving a car!" is a good rallying cry. It makes it seem like we don't understand that he was doing something illegal. If the opposition doesn't believe we understand the situation, they will dismiss our convictions. I think a better rallying cry would be something like "Kenneth Foster doesn't deserve to die!" or "Kenneth Foster's sentence is worse than his crime!" Tell me if you disagree.

I am against the DP but he was an accessory after the fact and is thus guilty of murder. he ought to just take his just desserts and die like a man.

During the time of LaHood's murder, Foster was on a 10 year deferred sentence for a previous violent crime of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which Foster had shot two young men which proved he did not show any regard to human life or gave a second thought to harming, terrorizing or even ending innocent lives! He is not the "innocent" person he or his supporters are making him out to be. So before you try to "save" Kenneth Foster, read the facts on the case and know that he was found GUILTY based on many facts presented in court and testimonial accounts presented.

Foster agreed to drive Brown (shooter) around town, selecting prey and committing armed robberies that night. They had robbed other people at gunpoint that night and split the stolen property equally. Why should Foster be excused for taking his active role in the events that led to Mike's murder?

Foster aided in the crime and drove away leaving Micheal Lahood shot in the face, laying in his driveway. They decided that night to commit armed robberies with a loaded gun, Foster had a choice that night to participate in criminal activity which ultimately resulted in the loss of the true innocent victim, Michael LaHood.
